Paratrygon aiereba (Müller & Henle, 1841)
Synonyms: Disceus sp., Elipesurus sp. Common name: Pigtail ray, Ceja ray, Manzana ray Range: Amazon and Orinoco River drainages in Bolivia, Peru, Brazil, and Venezuela Adult size: 120 - 920 mm DL Description: Large, rounded disc that is slightly concave in the front. Tail short in comparison with the disc length. Small, knob-like appendages on the margin of the spiracle. Pelvic fins completely covered by disc.
